PJ Mellon, CSSE student and resident of Dattic, left his room at his usual time of 5:56 am to brush his teeth before bed. To his great surprise he wasn't alone in his hallway. "I had never really seen the day-walkers before!" PJ stated, "I was beginning to doubt their existence." PJ, like many of his ilk, lives a life in darkness, not needing the sun for light, but nurturing themselves from the comfort glow of laptops, monitors, and various RGB devices. This life away from the morning shine means that CS students don't often get to experience many of the parts of life most take for granted. Human interaction, non-digital communication and food are often foreign concepts to this culture. PJ might have continued his life without this experience, if it wasn't for the greatest floor event, the onetime per year humanity keeps the hours of the CS clan. The students PJ met, Cam Pleet and Lee Sane, were frightened of the experience saying: "We had just begun to feel safe here! Now we learn there is an entire night dwelling subculture! AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" Pub safe responded to the emergency and was able to calm everyone down and encourage everyone to be respectful to CS working hours.
